Over the last two days, we have started thinking about the Apostle's Creed in both Upper and Lower School worship.
On Monday, Mr. Choi had us brainstorm the essential rules of basketball. What makes a basketball game a basketball game and not a football game or a soccer game?
We brainstormed a whole list of critical rules and things you should know about basketball. Then we were challenged to take out all the rules that applied to basketball but did not define basketball.
Mr. Choi reminded us that this is very much like the Apostles' Creed. Different groups of Christians who believe various things about the world, Bible and God all agree on the Apostles' Creed. In the creed we have what is at the heart of Christian belief.
We will continue studying the creed for the month of May.
