Over the last couple of days, sixth graders have been stopping by to share some personal reflections with us. This is what we have heard them say:
It is harder than 5th grade, but you find it natural to get things done and go with the flow.
I heard that teams and sixth grade aren't so bad!
You have to join chorus.
You'll get to know your teams.
It will get better as you go on.
More homework than fifth, but not by much.
Be yourself.
It got chaotic but they are ending strong. They also said it's fine and you'll be fine.
Sixth grade is hard at first but by the end of the year, you're ready and used to middle school.
Be brave!
Sixth grade was hard for most in the beginning, but it got much easier as the year progressed. Some did not like teams at the beginning of the year. Now they like it (most).
