Hiking and Hayride

"Hay Ride Back! But no hay ride there!"
We got a hayride back. But zero hayride there!
We hiked to the Farm. No hayride there!
We got a hayride back! Back to the cabin!

We tossed and turned on our way back. We got a hayride back!
We didn't toss and turn on our way there! No hayride there!
Little Kutztown Church
Question: Why isn't there any stained glass windows or crosses in the church?
Answers: We want to worship Jesus, not pictures of Jesus.
Disagreement: I think it helps worship Jesus.
Question: Why aren't there any instruments?
Answers: In the Bible it says that we should make a joyful noise and there isn't anything more joyful than voices.
Disagreement: In the Bible it also says that David praised the Lord with stringed instruments.
Egg Farm
"We learned about air bubbles. Yolk and egg whites and good quality eggs. I think the egg production was cool. I figured out about 10,800 eggs are produced in 1 cart."
"While we were at the egg farm, I learned that if a chicken was young, it was more likely to have a double yolk. A yolk is the yellow center inside an egg. With a good egg, you can lift up the yolk!"
Gettysburg
So there was this family who was having a normal day. But then a bomb hit their home and went through the wall and traveled to the front door and so one of the family members took the bomb outside and sat it in the middle of the street, and then the whole family came outside and stood around it and watched it. Not smart at all.
A Letter in Closing
Dear Grandma,
The farm trip is mostly all about fun and learning. The best place where we got our information was in Gettysburg. Of course, because that was where the battle was. We went to a tour house from a family that was living in a house during the battle. And we also went on another tour that told us stories about the battle. And we had a blast at the last night before we went home. We were playing many games and it was dark outside when we played a flashlight game. So if you want to learn about the battle of Gettysburg, go to Gettysburg on the farm trip. And if you want to have fun, fun, fun, stay at Camp Men-o-Lan.
