As you know students are not allowed to bring phones on the farm trip. We will call the office when we arrive safely. The office will then contact you to let you know. Most likely they will contact you through email.
While we are away on the farm trip, please call the office if you need to get in touch with your child. They have all of our numbers and will be able to get in touch with us easily.
I would also ask you not to call a parent chaperone as an alternate route of communication. We have asked parent chaperones to not give preferential treatment to their child or any one else's child. Please don't put a volunteer in the sticky situation of trying to decide if communicating with you about your child, or giving their phone to your child qualifies as preferential treatment. We are so grateful for all of our volunteers; we want to make their jobs as easy and uncomplicated as possible.
