As we continue to think about factors and multiples, it is important that students have quick and easy access to their multiplication facts; a few students already know their multiplication facts. Today every fifth grader created a multiplication chart. Students completed the assignment with varying levels of understanding, some students simply copied the numbers from the example, others counted by 1s, 2s, 3s etc., still others noted patterns and repeating numbers.
Now, everyone has the basic facts at their finger tips.
