Today we are planning to sign our class covenant!
There may be some minor revisions today, but here is what we have now:
Communicate Kindly
Treat others the way they want to be treated
Respect classmates and teachers
Be patient
Be honest
Celebrate everyone (who wants to be celebrated)
Help out your friends
Respect the way people do things
Work efficiently
Have a good working tone
Work hard, and give your project your full effort, even if you don't like the project
Don't be stressed if you do not finish
Never say, "I can't _____"
Believe in yourself. If you think that you can't do it, you won't try hard enough
Clean Completely
Respect the materials that your teacher gives you
Clean up after yourself: Pick up after yourself
Try as hard as you can to stay organized
Recycle what needs to be recycled
Throw away what needs to be thrown away
We have high expectations for ourselves this year. We won't be able to keep our covenant perfectly; we know that. We are working hard toward our goals and being patient with ourselves and others as we learn to keep the rules we have set for ourselves.
