Today fifth graders got to be astronauts and mission control experts. We landed a probe on a low-land site on the moon. On the field trip, the fifth graders were observed doing the following: measuring, researching, typing, clearly communicating, collaboratively problem solving, patiently waiting for information, and being flexible to learn in new environments.
Before we left, fifth graders studied a few new vocabulary words like ejecta and central peak.
